The Ooni Flanked by the leadership of the ODU'ACCIMA during the Monarch's conferment as the Chambers' Grand Patron held at the Ife Grand Resorts and Leisure on Wednesday December 15, 2021
The Arole Oduduwa & Ooni of Ife Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II has announced the readiness of his owned Ife Grand Resorts & Leisure, to join the Odu'a Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines & Agriculture (ODU'ACCIMA) and Ife Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines & Agriculture (IFECCIMMA).
Ooni Ogunwusi who is the Chairman of Ife Grand Resorts & Leisure disclosed this on Wednesday night in Ile-Ife, during his investiture by the leadership of ODU'ACCIMA as the Chambers Grand Patron.
The Ooni who is the Co-Chairman of the Nigeria Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria (NCTRN), pledged his readiness to support stakeholders in the economy sector to revamp the once prosperous economy of the south west and indeed that of Nigeria.
"Not quite long ago, the likes of the late chief Obafemi Awolowo and other Nationalists achieved so well through agriculture, industry, mines and commerce. This gave birth to the prominent Cocoa House, still standing firmly in Ibadan and other multimillion investments till date.
"Now that I am part of you, I believe we will achieve so many together. This place known as Ife Grand Resorts & Leisure today known as Oko Fasina used to belong to my forefathers but was sold away, I bought it back because I believe much can be done on the land long before I came to the throne." The Ooni said.
In his welcome address, President of ODU'ACCIMA, Mr. Kayode Adeyemi, explained that Ooni Ogunwusi's track records of achievements in the private sector as well as in public service is the basis for his appointment as the Grand Patron.
"I have been following Kabiyesi's activities especially in the last six years of his reign as the Ooni, he is very passionate and has shown leadership in the private sector through massive investment. This is what the southwest economy and indeed Nigeria need to grow and I am sure we will achieve so well with the Ooni on our side."
