Lawal spoke when he led the management team of the media outfits on a visit to the Consul-General, Kingdom of the Netherlands, Michel Deelen, in Lagos.
He expressed the desire of Radio Lagos and Eko FM to support the Consulate in disseminating information on immigration policies, procedures and other activities in Nigeria.
While thanking the team for the visit, the Consul-General said the Netherlands would continue to explore areas of sustainable business promotion in Nigeria.
Deelen explained that areas of interest include trade, agriculture as well as grants for youth empowerment and employment, just as he was optimistic about enhanced economic cooperation between Nigeria and Netherlands.
He said Radio Netherlands Training Centre (RNTC) also supports media literacy, which Radio Lagos/EKO FM could benefit from, and in the process develop the capacity of staff in order to enhance and improve their performance.
“The Netherlands mission in Nigeria is also seeking healthcare opportunities and recycling to generate income due to the challenges posed by COVID-19”, the Consul-General said.
