As the 2022 edition of the World Aje Festival draws near, traders across the country have been urged to embrace the current trends of technological innovations to advance their business operations.

The Iyalaje Oodua Worldwide, Princess (Dr) Toyin Kolade gave the charge on Friday in a release announcing the maiden edition of the Aje Heritage Summit as part of the activities lined up to mark this year's edition of the renowned festival held in the ancient city of Ile-Ife annually.

Princess Kolade in the statement said there is an urgent need for traders to advance technologically in line with the current realities in the business environment which, according to her, has witnessed a dramatic shift from a traditional to digitally sophisticated ways of existence, adding that traders are left with one option of subscribing to the tends.

"There is a paradigm shift from the traditional ways of doing things to digital sophistication, hence our traders need to join the bandwagon of socio-technological advancements to ace their businesses.

"In the sequel, the Aje Heritage Summit is a necessity to drive our traders to the next level of their business endeavor. Did you know that over 60% of sales conversions are achieved via digital channels? This is why you need to be at the summit, as we will be talked through by seasoned entrepreneurs and business executives who are adroit in the field.", Kolade said.

The Aje Heritage Summit, she noted, was birthed out of the move to intimate traders with the current innovative enterprises in business operations, adding that the summit will continue as an annual event, calling on people to make it a date at the event.

Kolade in the statement emphasized her role as the custodian of the deity of wealth, Aje which, she noted is essentially the distribution of wealth to humanity upon a prayer but maintained that such prayers must be backed up with work as according to her, faith without work will produce no result.

"Aje Heritage Summit is an annual event, with its maiden event scheduled to hold between 25th and 28th February 2022. The event is geared at bringing innovations to our traders, through the use of technology infrastructure.

"In corroboration with the ideals of Aje deity as a god of prosperity and wealth and Iyalaje Oodua, Princess (Dr.) Toyin Kolade as the emissary of the Aje deity to the world, birth the conception of the Aje Heritage Summit.

"The creator of mankind (Olodumare) has blessed the world with a plethora of good fortunes and prosperity, but the Aje deity is saddled with the responsibility of distributing wealth across the face of the Earth, unto any man who prays for it. However, faith without action is vain, and it is to this end that the latent wealth and prosperity in us needs to be engineered into fulfillment.

"As you create that innovative resolution for your business in 2022, work the talk by taking steps that would bring the resolution to fruition. Make it a date with us at the Aje Heritage Summit, scheduled to take place in Ile-Ife, reputed as the cradle of the Yoruba race.", she noted.
