Oduduwa University, Ipetumodu, Osun State has emerged as the Sixth Best Private University in Nigeria and the 37th overall Best University among all the 249 federal, state and private universities in the country for the year 2022.
In a publication by the AD Scientific, a notable ranking system of World Universities, based on the cumulative AD Scientific Indices of scholars each university has to parade.
Oduduwa University, Ipetumodu also holds the 221st position in Africa and 5413th position among all the world universities for the year.
In the list of the best Nigerian 50 universities released, the University of Ibadan, University of Nigeria, Nsukka and Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria emerged as the top three universities while Lagos State University, Ojoo emerged as the Best State University and overall 5th best in Nigeria.
Named after the progenitor of the Yoruba race, Oduduwa University, Ipetumodu received its provisional licence to operate as a private university on 3rd November 2009.
All the institution’s programmes both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels are approved and accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC).
