President Buhari Shares 80th Birthday Pictures, Thanks Well Wishers

Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari has extended appreciation to friends that wished him well on his 80th birthday which held on Saturday.

The president who regretted his not being available in the country to mark the day at home also shared pictures of himself, his flight crew members and his entourage.

He wrote, "I’m grateful for the outpouring of good wishes for my 80th birthday. I tried to avoid having to celebrate, by fixing our return journey from the United States on that day, but I didn’t quite succeed. 

"I give thanks to the Almighty for the gift of life, and the opportunity to serve, and I also thank everyone who sent prayers and greetings, and organised celebrations."
