The Ooni of Ife Arole Oduduwa, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II on Saturday wedded his new wife, Olori Elizabeth Opeoluwa Akinmuda-Ogunwusi in a colour royal wedding celebrations.
The wedding reception which was held at the ancient Ile Oodua, Ooni's Palace had in attendance dignitaries from various walks of life including Nigeria's former president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan GCFR, GCON, represented by HRM King (Dr) Amalate J. Turner, MFR, the Obanobhan of Oloibiri Kingdom, Bayelsa State alongside other prominent Chiefs in his entourage; Olota of Ota Awori, HRM, Oba(Prof) Adeyemi Abdulkabir Obalanlege; SookoLaeun of Ife, Prince Adegboyega Ogunwusi; Adesola Soremilekun, Adebimpe Bolaji-Jimoh, Sir. Tokunbo Macauly, among others.
Also in attendance were Ooni's Olori Mariam, Olori Aderonke, Olori Tobi as well as other prominent memeber of the Ogunwusi Royal family including Olori Agba Margaret Ogunwusi, Princess Folashade Fadairo, among others.
The Ooni had earlier on Friday evening welcomed the new queen into the Royal Palace amidst various Ife Royal wedding rites as traditions demand.
The bride, Olori Opeoluwa Akinmuda Ogunwusi showed off his joy in the presence of his family memebers, friends and well-wishers who graced the occasion.
