Wife of the Ooni of Ife, Her Regal Majesty, Olori Temitope Adesegun Enitan-Ogunwusi was on Wednesday bestowed with the prestigious Goodwill Award by the Ife Ooye North America(IONA)-Maryland Chapter.
The prominent Queen who was received by the officials of the organisation in the US over the week on Friday in a statement, shared her experience.
Olori Temitope described the gesture as a huge honor and added motivation in championing the the course of humanitarian projects across African continent through her Hopes Alive Initiative(HAI) programme.
"It was an honor to be received by Ife Ooye North America, Maryland Chapter in the US this past week. Speaking to these beautiful minds was a wonderful experience.
"Introducing our revolutionary HAI Community Building Program (Talent Mega Show) dedicated to empowering talented individuals from underserved communities across Africa brought hope and joy to my heart. Their receptivity in joining a course that will empower African communities is quite endearing.
"I was humbled and honored to receive the prestigious Goodwill Ambassador award from the good people of Ife Ooye North America-Maryland Chapter. For me, this is an added motivation to champion the course of uplifting underserved communities.
"With HAI’s Talent Mega Show program, I believe we can begin making waves of change fulfilling the visions of talented individuals, starting with the children. Join us on this transformative journey of hope and collaboration.", She stated.
Hopes Alive Initiative(HAI) is Ooni's Non-Governmental Organization which focuses on helping the less privileged people in the society particularly women and children and of which Her Regal Majesty, Queen Temitope is the Deputy Convener.
