A female tourist and content creator, Fari Elysian who recently journeyed from Lagos, Nigeria to the ancient city of Ile-Ife on bike had gone online to share her amazement at some stunning locations in the city.
Sharing the excitement of her visit on instagram, the Nigerussian woman alongside her trip mates, Danny and Gnee, showed they had a really nice time exploring one of the most beautiful destinations in the country.
While she and her crew obviously enjoyed every location visited as shared in the clip, Fari was somehow particularly excited on sighting the Civil Engineering Building locally tagged "Spider Building" located in the heart of the Obafemi Awolowo University campus.
Built in the 70s by Israeli Architect, Arieh Sharon, the building stands as a testament to the ingenuity of civil engineering and architectural design. It houses three departments of Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Material Science and Engineering under the Faculty of Technology.
This remarkable edifice, inspired by the complex web-weaving abilities of spiders, showcases the fusion of innovative design and functionality in civil engineering.
With its awe-inspiring structure, innovative features, and cultural significance, the Spider Building has become a revered symbol of excellence and inspiration.
