Wife of the Ooni of Ife and Founder, Adire Oodua Textile Hub, Ile-Ife Olori Aderonke Ademuluyi Ogunwusi has urged beneficiaries of the House of Akoraye vocational training programme to be productive and prepare well for the future challenges.
Olori Aderonke stated this on Friday at the Adire Odua Textile Hub, Ife Grand Resorts and Industrial Hub, Ile-Ife in Osun State.
In a statement issued by the group signed by its Press Secretary, Ademola Sunday Moses, Olori Aderonke expressed her sincere appreciation to the Ogunsua of Modakeke, Oba Joseph Olubiyi Toriola, Ajibise Ogo 1, for his continuous supports and cooperation towards Modakeke and Ile- Ife development.
The Queen who took the students on a tour of the hub, explained different sections of Adire making, urging them to imbibe the principles of success which include determination, discipline, obedience and sincerity in whatever they do.
"I implore you to be more focused. You are the future and whatever decision you make today will be your reward tomorrow. It is imperative to find an alternative source of income as the labour market is congested", Olori Aderonke stated.
The founder, Africa Fashion Week Nigeria, London, and Brazil, stated that the knowledge gained in Adire training is enough for creating sustainable means of livelihood if properly utilised.
Olori Aderonke Ogunwusi then commended the Coordinator, House of Akoraye, Mr. Sumbola Temitope for a job well done.
