Following the arrest of 67 gay suspects at a hotel on Monday, an X user with the name @alefreewayy has called for the arrest of popular crossdressers Bobrisky and James Brown, alleging they are the major personalities encouraging others into the practice.
The Delta State Police Command had earlier on Tuesday, paraded the suspects who were arrested in the Ekpan area of the state.
The command's Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe, made this known in a tweet on Tuesday, adding that they would soon be charged to court.
Sharing photos of the suspects on his X page, Edafe wrote, "Delta State Police Command has arrested 67 gay suspects at a hotel on 28/8/2023. They were at a suspected gay wedding ceremony between Daniel Pius 'm' (groom) and Maxwell Ohwonowho (bride) at Teebulus Hotel along refinery road Ekpan. I paraded them today at Ekpan Police Station."
Reacting to the arrest however, the man tweeted, "Arrest the main people influencing them like James brown , bobrisky and so many of them , Nigeria 🇳🇬 entertainment industries need to work hard to make some fruitful laws , so shameful and disgusting 🤮 , good job well done Nigeria police"
