A bill seeking the establishment of the Federal College of Nursing, Ijebu-Ijesa, has successfully passed its first reading in the Senate.
The bill sponsored by Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi, representing Osun East Senatorial District, aims to enhance access to quality healthcare education in the area.
Confirming the progress in a statement from his media office, Senator Fadahunsi noted that the proposed institution if approved, will provide significant educational and economic benefits to the Ife-Ijesa region.
